I stayed here for two months, and the place was perfect. I’ve never seen such an efficient use of space. Traveling alone, I couldn’t have hoped for a better location. Three major Métro stations are just a 5-, 10-, and 15‑minute walk away, with convenient bus stops nearby as well.The shopkeepers on the island are warm, welcoming, and generally fluent in English—without any attitude. The restaurants are very good and mostly reasonably priced. There are a couple of small markets close by, and a great grocery store (Intermarché) just across from the university, about a 10‑minute walk.The listing says it sleeps four, but unless two guests are very much in love and the other two are under eight years old, that feels like an overstatement. That said, the host was extremely helpful and always accessible. I can’t wait to come back.
