Absolute beachfront Raumati

ABSOLUTE BEACHFRONT with only the front lawn separating you from the beautiful and family friendly Raumati beach life doesn't get much better!

This centrally located single level lockwood property is a short stroll to the many cafés and Boutique shops in Raumati village.

With stunning views of Kapiti Island and the South Island (on a good day).

Whether it be a couple, one or two families or a group of friends the house is an ideal set up for most groups.

Located on the beachfront and handy to Raumati's Marine Gardens park and miniature railway for friends and family to enjoy.

Raumati Beach is central to a number of facilities including the world class Paraparaumu beach golf club, Southwards car museum, Nga Manu bird sanctuary, Kapiti Island and the cycle and walking tracks in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Coastlands shopping centre is also a 5-minute drive away.

Sit back, relax, and take in the fresh sea breeze we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Note: The section is beachfront and only partially fence so children should be supervised
The decks around the property have low railings. Care should be taken by all guests
There is a right of way for the house behind to access the beach via the section

We loved our 3 week stay. You can hear and see the waves from the house. Beautiful sunsets. A well appointed home with everything we needed. Close to restaurants and shops.

Our stay at the Lockwood was fantastic!The home was clean, spacious and well stocked with all the essentials- bath towels (loved the towel animals on the beds!), beach towels, laundry powder, pegs for the line, spices, a grill in good working order, books, beanbags. No matter the sun angle or wind, there was a place on a deck to enjoy the fresh air & view. Bonus: Direct access to the beach and just being a couple of minutes walk to the Raumati shops (and an outstanding Fish & Chip shop)! We will definitely be returning!

Wow what a fabulous bach. Well in fact it is a house in the perfect oceanside location, the changing weather and seas were lovely to watch. Great location to locate ourselves and visit places around the area. Love all the extras, soaps, books, games, and a few items in the panty in case you forget something. It was beautifully clean, and appreciated to communication re the fixed leak. Would happily return to this wonder.

Ideal 4 bedroom house for our group of 6. Great location for local golf courses and train to Wellington. We appreciated the lovely linen on the beds and the fluffy white towels. The gas heater was efficient and used lots. Comfortable, homely bach feeling which suited us. Would use this again.

This was a really lovely, clean, tidy, well-equipped home, with everything in good working order. As others have noted, it is thoughtfully appointed with lots of things for kids to do & a great book selection. It easily accommodated our group of eight (2 x parents, 2 x grandparents and 4 x children). The location was perfect! It was easy to find and I’d highly recommend it to anyone with kids! We’d love to come back!

This was a magical spot with everything you need for a holiday. The beds were so comfortable and lovely linen and towels. We loved the big front lawn to enjoy the sun and only a few steps away from the beach for a swim. Really quiet and private. Great wifi and BBQ to use too. Thank you so much Erin and we hope to come and stay another time in the future. Happy new year

A magic place. Right on the beach. Great walks, swimming and views. Close to everything you need, cafes, restaurants and superette. Clean tidy and well set up for families. Lovely friendly host. We would highly recommend to all. Had a perfect stay 😊

This was the perfect spot for a group of friends to gather for a weekend. Plenty of space, good facilities, retro kiwi bach feel, and a great location by the sea. We had wet weather so didn’t get to spend much time outside but that was no prob. It would be absolutely magic if you could though, especially when they get the bbq installed 😀. Thank you for sharing this property with us.

This place was the perfect for getting together, enjoying friendships and relaxing. Where the house is, amazing and it was warm plus you get to wake up to the most awesome view. And from day one with the support from the home owner it was was just easy. Plus Raumati has the most incredible food. Recommend 100%.
