Renovated in 2023, Chip's Ahoy is refreshed and awaiting your family's next Cape getaway. Beachfront and close to the Gulf front pool in Barrier Dunes, Chip's has beautiful views of the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes is a gated community on the North end of Cape San Blas that has two pools, tennis courts with pickle ball lines, playground, and 3 ponds stocked with fish and turtles. Renovated to give guests the perfect coastal retreat, Chip's is a 2 bedroom townhouse with a super loft and sleeping for 10. Spacious with updated furnishings and decor, everyone in your group will find the perfect spot to relax at the end a fun filled beach day.

Chip's Ahoy is a dog friendly unit. A maximum of two dogs is allowed with the pet fee. Couch covers and pet towels are provided for your convenience.

We loved staying at this property. Spectacular view and couldn’t be any easier to get to the beach. I think this is the best unit we have stayed in at Barrier Dunes.

We loved this property. Both the living room and one bedroom have windows looking directly over the gulf. We enjoyed cooking every day and found all of the utensils and cookware we needed to make some really amazing meals. We also spent time in the state park directly adjacent to this property and enjoyed the beaches and scenery they offered. The property faces the gulf with perfect views of the sunset.

The condo was amazing. Very clean and up-to-date. Quiet gated community with wonderful views! Easily accessible to nearby restaurants. The host was very accommodating with clear instructions and easy check-in/check-out. Highly recommend!

Fun Getaway!

We had the best time soaking up the sun on the Cape! The house was great for our needs- extra clean, spacious, and the sand toys in the closet were a big plus! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and clean with great views of the gulf. Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys for the kids to enjoy. I’m already thinking about when we can come back for another trip!

Family Beach Trip

Excellent experience! The unit is beautifully decorated, homey, spacious, and has wonderful views! It’s a super easy walk to the beach off the back deck. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The cute window seat with beach views was a special bonus. The super loft is awesome and was perfect for our kids!! I hope we can visit again soon.

Great Family Vacation

Chips Ahoy is a wonderful place to stay. It is beachfront, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a beach vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and they even have beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. It is also pet friendly which is a huge bonus. I would live hear!

Perfect townhouse!

We had a great stay! The one minor issue we notified the property manager about was resolved above in beyond within minutes. Wonderful customer service. The townhouse was stocked with plenty of extras. We would gladly stay here again!

The condo was decorated very cute. The kitchen dishes were clean and everything was provided that we needdd. It did have a urine smell in two bathrooms and the den furniture looked unclean with stains making it hard to relax.

Coast is clear

We were very apprehensive about our week post Hurricane Helene. The host did a wonderful job keeping us updated and getting the house ready after the storm. We were able to spend a beautiful week at CSB and the host’s check in tips/suggestions were very helpful. The kids loved the upstairs room.

Absolutely Perfect

The location and views are both perfect. Its beach side and the master bedroom looks out over the beach. You couldnt be any closer. Both our girls absolutely loved the children's loft bedroom on the upper floor. And the cleanliness was great. About the only thing we could possibly critique is that the community turns on their sprinkler system at around 9am, which is the same time you are trying to pack your car and leave. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, Beautiful, Well Stocked Beachfront Retreat!

My family and I can't say enough wonderful things about our time at Chip's Ahoy. The living space, which overlooks the dunes and ocean, had 2 large sofas, 2 chairs as well as a large eating space and cozy window seat. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I have ever come across (we could have been there for 2 weeks and still not used all of the dishes!) and all of the bedrooms had seating options as well as comfortable beds with layers of bedding. One of the things I appreciated the most is how clean the space was. Maybe the most clean house we've ever rented at the beach! Also appreciated the well stocked beach closet and the ease of access to the beach. We'll be back for sure! Thank you for sharing this gem with us!!

Wow!

My family and I recently stayed at Chips Ahoy and our experience was phenomenal! - Super responsive - Friendly handyman service - Beautiful decor - Easy beach access - Stocked beach closet We flew in for our stay with young kiddos and realized we had overpacked ‘beach goodies’ when we got there because this place has multiple beach chairs, a plethora of sand toys, and boogie boards. This was awesome! The house itself is also stocked with very comfortable bedding and bath linens. The kitchen was also stocked but is limited on what pans/serving dishes/utensils are available. We had an issue with the dryer but Stefanie was on it as soon as I texted her and within 12-hours had already let me know that a new dryer was going to be delivered and installed - AMAZING! It was so nice to be able to go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. The community is so quiet and everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and a delight. Overall, we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Nice place, just wish weather had been better

Nicely furnished. Maybe a few too many pillows on the sofa--LOL.. Just to pick nits so you can improve for the next guests. One roll of single ply toilet paper per bathroom and one of those had been dropped into water and allowed to dry and used. As cheap as one ply is, it should have been thrown out. That is the disadvantage of not opening the toilet roll and inspecting it before hanging in on the toilet roll dispenser. Television in Master bedroom very dusty. In fact, the whole condo needed a good dusting. There was sand left on the rug in the living room. We found the vacuum cleaner next to the furnace and cleaned the entire living room floor. Other than that it was a great location with great amenities.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at Chips Ahoy. The house was right on the beach; you could take one of two boardwalks to the beach, each less than a minute walk from the door to the water. The beds were comfortable, and the master shower was great. The neighborhood was wonderful (fishing ponds, playground, nice neighbors, lots of dogs, two pools- one heated and one not). It all felt very safe and laid back. The house had everything we needed, including beach/pool toys, a wagon, chairs, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked. The renovations/furnishings were very nice. The only things I would suggest changing- some areas could've been cleaner. The master shower definitely needed a good scrubbing- lots of mold and mildew. We found several food items in drawers (a soda can, a partially eaten waffle, and a yogurt tube). The dryer did not work well- I had to dry even the smallest loads twice. The master balcony could use some shade as it is not covered (maybe an umbrella or something similar?). The view from the main floor balcony was obstructed by bushes. It would be nice for those to be trimmed down if possible, but I know sometimes these provide a habitat/erosion control.Overall, we had a great time and will definitely stay here again!
