We've stayed at Tidewater several times and this is probably the cleanest place we've stayed in. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels, although we did have to do laundry a few times to have enough throughout the stay. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of dishes etc, however we don't usually use much of the kitchen when we vacation, we bring paper plates and such.
Washer and dryer did fine, the dryer gets a little loud and squeaky, but it dries fine.
Elevators at Tidewater aren't always the quickest, but just plan when you need to come and go. Check in/out times are busy, as well as when people leave for dinner.
The layout is great, especially for two families. It was us 4 (kids 4&6) and my in laws. They took the bigger room, we had the room with two queens. There's a door to the bathroom from the room and from the hallway. There weren't really any negatives, just a few things that could make it even better- I would suggest putting blackout curtains in the second bedroom. The lights from outside and first morning sun were bright. It's personal preference of course, our kids are used to darker rooms at naps/bedtime so we hung up extra beach towels. Thicker bedding or extra blankets, the white throw on top wouldn't stay on for nothing, it just slid off every night. Plan on getting bags of ice or bringing ice packs, the freezer didn't make much ice. The balcony could use a new rug. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay in this unit again!
