The area is just ghetto—homeless people everywhere—and they are partying it up in the canal just next door. Then let me tell you, the SWAT team came out, and the next morning the investigation team was investigating something that looked serious! But yeah, we had the kiddos. "We stayed here for a concert at Harrah’s. Nice easy drive back and forth. Walking distance to a local brewery next door and kewl eats around. Staff was excellent. Place was clean and they’re still upgrading and renovating the place. Will definitely be back whenever we are in Escondido or nearby for events. Awesome place if you’re a tourist to San Diego but don’t want to pay the premium prices in San Diego. The only drawback is no pool/hot tubs, but who cares about that October through...

Easy access to interstate and local restaurants and venues. Super from beginning to end. This is my go-to place to stay in the San Diego - Poway/Escondida area. Thanks for a great stay!"

Only disappointing part was that there isn't a restaurant there or a bigger assortment of breakfast food. The little coffee cart was cute and fit the ambiance. Would be perfect if you need to get away and decompress or for a wedding. for a getawayWill definitely visit again."
