Sminket Motel / Hotel
Hotellet ser rigtigt fint ud på billeder og har en god beliggenhed. Dog er det er sminket lig da det er et noget ældre motel inde bagved. Her er særligt renligt, maling skaller af på badeværelse, ikke noget håndklæder eller solstole ved pool og generel ligegyldighed med gæsterne.

Enjoyed this property; they upgraded my room upon check-in and the room was clean. There were pool parties daily and the front desk said they would be loud as a warning. However, I never noticed anything overly loud and enjoyed the pool view. My only negative is that there are no food/beverage options available after the restaurant closes. We wanted to pick up a Diet Coke for the room on the way back from being out and that wasn’t possible. The hotel would benefit from selling concessions etc from the desk. Overall, everything was great.

The property is very old and dated. The walls were dirty. I was very disappointed for the price that I was charged. If I could have left without a penalty, I would have.

Great pool area with two hot tubs. Electronic Lounge music staring at 9am. Drag brunch unavailable as sold out early. Bar was closed most days & nights. Bed only made once in 4 day stay.

There is a lot of potential with this property, but it's a little too DIY as a guest, not easy to get essentials, the beds were worn out. There is an odor in the hallways. The staff was nice. Expensive for the experience in this case. Not a great value.

The hotel interior, at least in the rooms and hallways, is in need of a newer paint job. Things just look grimy. The pool area is very nice, although the pool bartender would go missing for a while leaving people to stand and wait for their “nothing lower than 14 dollar” drinks. Also, my friend and I bought coffee, regular drip coffee, on two different mornings in the Jefe restaurant. One day we were charged 13 dollars, the other 8 dollars for the exact same order… that was a little suspicious. We were told we would only get housekeeping if we requested it. We were fine without it for our short stay, However, twice they cleaned our room while we were out, but we had not requested it. A clean room is great, but we would not have left out some of our personal items had we known they would enter our room. We also took advantage of the spa and got facials. We were maybe 5-7 minutes late for our appointment if that and one of the clinicians was very rude about it. I can’t believe one adult would talk to another adult like she was a child because “ they have a schedule with back to back clients and so our session would be cut short… we were to arrive at 2:30, as she pointed to a time on our paperwork and continued to “ slap my hand” verbally. I am fine with our session being cut short, we were late, that is on us, but don’t come at me like I am a toddler and treat me like I am stupid. I was very taken aback. No other client entered either after us.

The property does look nice and have a pretty central area, but my problem was with the rooms themselves. They were upgraded but in cheap ways that didn't look the best. This includes not insulating the doors to the hallway. I got stuck next to three access doors that slam loudly every time and was hard to sleep.

The resort was nice. They've fancied up on older hotel and made it fairly comfortable. My room configuration actually had a small triangular room with no window or furniture - kind of a strange feature. Only complaint is really with Expedia for not making the resort fee prominent in the booking. I only needed an overnight hotel and ended up paying a "resort" fee when I didn't have the ability to use the pools - also they close at 10PM.

A huge disappointment. We left a day early. All night parties and not clean or kept up. Honestly spoiled the first couple days of our trip until we moved hotels.

Like the pool area and the beds are comfortable. The bathtub was rusty and stopper broken. The property is in need of paint everywhere. The front desk check in person was less than welcoming if not sleepwalking through his job and a bit hostile. Not exactly a warm greeting to kick off our stay. In general, this is a dump

Allowed us an early check in since we arrived so early from LA. Alejandro at the front desk was awesome! Also booking with Expedia got us two free margaritas at the restaurant on the property. We had a great time in this gorgeous hotel.

We booked this hotel because it was relatively affordable compared to other hotels with similar amenities. They definitely advertise and put a lot of work into the outdoor/pool area which was great for lounging and swimming. However the rest of the hotel lacks the same level of care. our room was fine but was very dark and had limited lighting, and we could hear every step and movement from the room above us. The entire property is huge and poorly marked, it was like navigating a maze to get back and forth from the lobby and pool. I also booked a massage at their onsite “spa” which I would definitely not recommend, the “spa” is in the lower level close to the onsite restaurant so the area smelled like food. The therapist was lovely, but I paid a hefty amount for a 60 minute massage in the basement of a restaurant with none of the spa “ambiance” that I would have expected after paying so much. I would recommend this property for those looking for the Palm Springs “pool party” experience on a budget, and to skip the “spa”!
