Was a bit chilly camping out there but I was equipped to deal with it. This time of year the road is often closed due to snow and ice so I was lucky to get in and out. Paddy's River Dam is a sight to behold when it's warm and dry, but it's like a fairytale in the sleet and snow, looking like something out of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.

We have stayed at many properties in Talbingo over the years and this is one of the best. The house was cool and spacious. Great facilities (dishwasher, bbq and tv that all work!!) The teenagers would have loved wifi but when the are having so much fun up at the dam they didn’t really need it.Optus ...
