"Beautiful cottage and conveniently located. Cottage and hot tub were very clean. Breakfast and use of the swimming pool were an added bonus. We will definitely be returning."

"We came to town for a wedding. This little cottage was the perfect location to anything and everything. Anywhere we needed to drive was minutes away. The day we wanted to check out the downtown shops, we loaded up the stroller and walked into town only maybe a half mile away. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Eureka. This little cozy cottage definitely embodies the vintage feel of the town. "

"We loved the location and it had everything we needed. We loved getting to walked up to Wanderoo bar, around the neighborhood and it was also a short walk into town. It is uphill on the way back but we wanted the exercise! It has a slight musty smell but that is to be expected with older buildings. Overall, we had a great experience here!"

"The cottage seemed roomy for a one bedroom...very nice layout. The kitchen and bath were modern, comfy bed, large tvs, really everything we needed.we loved the screened-in porch and the deck. We played cards on the deck and grilled. We caught some small sunfish off the dock and enjoyed seeing deer, heron and ducks/ducklings each day.We didn't get out on the water, but the dock, kayaks, and ladder were awesome amenities.The steps down to the water were wide and well maintained, but challenging...

It was peaceful and quiet, the most noise you hear is the water and kiddos playing. i would definitely stay here again! it was close enough to food places, attractions, and restaurants to be convenient but tucked away enough to make you feel like you aren’t surrounded from people. a perfect get away place!"

This venue is a nice cozy cottage which is not in a touristy area, so you will surely enjoy the peace and quiet for a much needed relaxation experience. The boat ramp is not far (about 2-3 miles away) and once your boat is in the water, you can park it at the dock which is within walking distance from the cottage.
