"This is perfect for a couple seeking quiet, cozy comfort. Walkable to downtown and your nightcap to go is across the street at the distillery. Close drive to the beach but the advantage over oceanfront is being able to walk to good eats and bars. Try Firetender, great service pizza and smash burgers. This location feels less touristy than points north in obx and we will stay again "

"We had the best time at Cypress House. Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. We will be back! "

"We booked this last minute and didn’t know what to expect. It was our first time to the area. We were pleasantly surprised. The room/condo was right in the beach with beautiful views of the ocean from our deck. Only a few steps away from the beach. The tennis/pickleball court was in excellent condition, with good equipment! We did have to buy our own pickleballs (not a big deal)and enjoyed it every day.
