"Beautifully designed property, with the latest mod-con appliances and facilities, but with a traditional cottage feel. Less than a 10 min drive to Chester centre. Our host Gary was lovely. Met me on site to go over everything and give us lots restaurant and bar suggestions. "

"Lovely property. Parking proved difficult to ensure our 4x4 did not block next doors gate. The road was extremely busy whilst we manoeuvred the car as close are we could to the fence. The stone plant pot did not help. Although the garden is lovely the property would appeal more if the lawn was hard core for easier off street parking."

"Lovely, well maintained and comfortable property in a quiet village giving us the full “country” experience. Relaxing in the hot tub on mornings and evenings with views of the valley was amazing. Good quality beds and bedding in all rooms made for a relaxing visit with everyone in the family enjoying a good nights sleep each night. Good pubs and food available in nearby villages within short (20 min) drives. Lots of interesting places to visit in local area. Would visit again in the future. "

"Lovely cozy cottage. The host left a lovely welcome hamper and visited in person to check in on us.We stayed with a 2 & 7 year old. The children loved the cottage and didn't want to leave. "

"The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

"We were offered stunningly gorgeous views of the local landscape and a glimpse into the lives of those working a multi generational farm. It was a truly lovely experience. "

"Booked at the very last minute as visiting mid wales after a week in Snowdonia. The cottage is on quite a busy road, but wasn’t too bad at night and convenient for the town centre and for visiting Ynys Hir and the Osprey centre . Bring your own tea and coffee as none provided . Coop just up the road and reasonable pub food at the Red Lion just a short walk up the road. Bed comfortable and clean . Good Wi Fi connection. 35 mins from Aberystwyth."

"Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"

"Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Having the beds made as double requires some gymnastics as headroom is limited in the converted loft. Overall a lovely place to stay and well recommended. In addition we chatted to the signalman and he happily gave us a tour of the signal box. "
