"Jeg vil rigtig gerne skrive om Inn at Occidental. Et vidunderligt hus, både ude og inde. Dog mest for par uden børn, da huset er indrettet med smukke antikviteter. Morgen maden er lækker med skønt bagværk frugt og frisklavede varme ting. Der er masser af dejlige ture i omegnen, som vores søde værtinde hjalp os med. Hver aften kl 17. er drinkstime på typisk amerikansk veranda, så hvad kan man ønske sig mere. "

"Fantastisk dejligt værelse og ikke mindst badeværelset med både brus og spa, seperat toilet i eget rum. Venligt og serviceminded personale. Mangler lige det sidste her for at få fulde point i den kategori på grund af lunken kaffe i kanderne i fællesarealerne, samt mange nedfaldne blade på trapper og gangbroer. Morgenmaden veltillavet og vi kunne bestille det vi gerne ville have. Vores bedste anbefaling til stedet og vi kommer gerne igen."

"Staying there is so nice, easy to get to town, Barlow, and to Russian River. Nice breakfast. Pool was nice, as well as the area around. Making in back is a walk-in to the 2nd floor, very easy."

"The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! "

"A colleague of mine recommended Stavrand and so I booked it as a birthday getaway-- it was PERFECTION! Everything I wanted and more! This might just need to be an annual tradition. The only flaw was the alarm on our bedside clock going off at 6am(!) BUT I have to say, if that hadn't happened I wouldn't have gotten to sip coffee downstairs in a cozy nook while reading my book and gazing at the foggy redwoods out the big beautiful windows. So I can't complain! We will be back. "

It was the perfect place to spend the night with our local friends nearby. The hummingbirds and fish in the pond entertained us out of our bedroom window. "

I was able to park in a great area and the city Square across from us had movie nights and even farmers market very walkable lots of great restaurants near the hotel."

"Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms . "

"I want to say don’t come here because it’s so good. Probably safe from before being overrun though as it was not crowded.
The restaurant, on the other hand, is very popular which can be a problem if don’t want to leave the property. Mixed blessing there but food and cocktails are extremely good. "
