Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Unacceptable Conditions at [Hotel Name]
Dear Hilton Customer Care Team,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your [Hotel Name, Location] property. Unfortunately, the condition of this hotel falls far below the standards one expects from the Hilton brand.
From the moment I arrived, there was a pervasive smell of mold and mildew in the guest rooms. I was moved once in an attempt to resolve the issue, but the second room was only marginally better. The air-conditioning units were extremely loud—at times sounding like an airplane taking off when the compressor engaged.
Additionally, the hot tub—which was one of the reasons I chose this property—has apparently been out of service for months and resembles an oversized drain rather than a functional amenity.
While I want to acknowledge that the staff were attentive and the location was convenient, the overall experience was unacceptable. After four nights, I left with swollen eyes and a nosebleed, symptoms I believe were caused by the mold and mildew present throughout the rooms. The carpets and furniture appear severely dated and in need of deep cleaning or replacement, and even the bathroom sink was missing a functional stopper.
I have been a loyal hotel guest for many years. Although I was encouraged to switch from Marriott to Hilton Honors, this experience has left me seriously reconsidering that choice. At Marriott properties—regardless of the brand tier—I
