"This is a very lovely home in a beautiful setting on the lake. My wife and I were looking for someplace to just get away and relax. This place fit the bill perfectly. The grounds are well maintained making for such a peaceful setting. You can sit on the well built dock and fish, or just enjoy the view and serenity like we did. Inside, the recliners are a nice treat to sit and watch the large TV or just enjoy the view outside. The beds are comfortable also."

"This cottage was a great location relative to things in town and really enjoyed the little kitchen, nice bath area and the bed was perfect too. I would recommend giving the French Cottages a try. Very relaxing and convenient."

"I can't communicate well enough how nice this property is. Check in was simple. Everything we needed was present. The house and property are lovely. It's close enough walk to downtown Jefferson, which we did. We walked back at 1:30 am and you can't do that most places. Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, big back porch...it's fabulous."

"This charming cottage has everything you need. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms, 2 nice social areas and a great outside patio with a table, seating, etc. It is located right on the edge of the historic downtown You can basically walk everywhere. ANNA IS A GREAT HOST. She provided a nice basket of snacks, coffee, creamer, etc., and is very responsive. The king bed is very comfortable, the shower runs hot and full. This was our second stay and if we make it back to Jefferson? We'll try to...

"The property is very attractive and well maintained. The unit itself was clean, smelled nice, and the bed was comfy! We LOVED having a kitchen to enjoy a leisurely breakfast & visit the neighbor’s fluffy cat. Being able to open the blinds to watch the thunderstorms was wonderful! The owner was very nice and responsive to our needs. However, the high booking fee for what we received provided no value to us. We knew where we wanted to stay in Jefferson, having been there many times before, so...

"Overall the property was absolutely beautiful. We took about 15 members of our family for a weekend trip for a lowkey wedding ceremony. Don't be phased by the scenery of the drive in, as the surrounding properties are no reflection of the rental. All of the cabins were very clean and extremely cute. The event center and kitchen is absolutely stunning. Katherine was sure to pop in to see if we needed any help with decorating. Tom and Katherine were so kind and helpful throughout our time there....
