"This vrbo was perfect for our needs. We were there to flyfish so being able to store our gear in the shed was great, and the location to Viroqua and the trout streams was perfect. They provided everything we needed and more - a grill, fire ring and wood, outdoor chairs and tables for enjoying meals in the perfect weather, a full kitchen with all the appliances and dishes we needed, etc. The bed was comfortable and it was nice not having to climb a ladder to get to the main bedroom. "Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future."

"We had the pleasure of getting a little snow during our stay which was awesome.But the roads from the cabin were sloppy with the melt the following day and we had trouble getting out to go for a grocery run. Kirsty and Kyle were very helpful and were kind enough to bring us some coffee and flour. Really great folks and a very beautiful and private location. Great space to reset from reality. Highly recommend."

"We loved our stay at Valley Lodge! It’s way better than the pictures. It was very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. It had everything we needed and then some! "This property is wonderful. The outdoor space is perfect and allows for ample access to enjoy your surroundings. Check-in was beyond easy and the space was set up with everything we needed for our stay. The lake water was a little murky, but it seems it depends heavily on which way the wind is coming from, just like any other body of water. Overall, we definitely recommend this property. We will definitely be back!"
