Charming Victorian beach house 5 bedrooms. 50 steps to the beach

Having accumulated 15+ years of experience with high end, short term rental beach properties in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, our focus is providing you and your family with the most mermorable getaway/vacation. The location of this property is sublime. Situated in a quiet neighborhood of Old Orchard Beach, known as Ocean Park. Our newest beach property sits just 3 houses in from the Beach. With wrap around porches to sit out on and relax either alone or in good company with your coffee in the early morning or glass of wine in the evening, there is ample space and rocking chairs to enjoy around the outside of the home, and on mulitple levels! So if you wish to really hideaway we recommend hanging out on the 2nd floor, outdoor balcony! Upon your arrival, assuming you have already stopped at exit 32 Market Basket in Biddeford and picked up all your necessary supplies for the weekend/week there is little need for your vehicle. Unless you wish to explore the awesome restaurants just 20 minutes away in Portland, especially the Old Port section. The Downtown area of Old Orchard Beach is a comfortable 15 minute walk (to the Pier) where you have your choice of breakfast restaurants such as JJ's, Cafe 64, Good Thyme Cafe or Beach Bagels. Alternatively walk the family down to the Soda Fountain in "sleepy" Ocean Park, just 10 blocks South of the house. They open at 7am and offer a nice, simplistic menu, extremely family friendly!! Alternatively across the road at Ocean Park Subs & Grocery you may find yourselves standing in line to pick up World famous Cinnamon rolls, muffins and coffee to go!
Back to the house... there is plenty of space to sit and lounge inside, whether you choose to sit in the kitchen area by the beautiful bay windows overlooking the property, the sun room that is filled with childrens board games etc... or the living room that has an awesome gas fire place right underneath a XL flat screen TV. There is no cable TV at the house. We removed that and installed Amazon Fire Sticks so you can watch your sports, TV shows & movies on your own Streaming network, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc..... The house has WIFI internet service. To ensure maximum WIFI reach throughout the house WIFI extenders have been installed. Very comfortable bedding has recently been purchased, including mattresses, linens, pillows & bath towels.
The house has parking for up to 4 vehicles on site. There is free parking directly in front of the house if additional parking space are needed. One can park their vehicle on the street for the entire week without any restrictions or charges. Of course the beach house comes with an awesome grill for your outdoor grilling needs. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary dishware, silverware, glasses, mugs, pots & pans etc. Both a regular coffee maker and a brand new Keurig coffee maker is available (Keurig coffee maker makes both a pot as well as individual cups). We start all our guests off with the basic necessities including paper towel in the Kitchen, toilet paper in the bathrooms, body wash soap, shampoo & conditioner, hair dryer. You have your own washer & dryer so no need to wear the same bathing suit / swimming costume, pajamas and sweat pants every day of your stay unless of course you prefer to! If you need anything during your stay we ask guests to call or text us. We are more than happy to assist you to ensure the very best vacation experience is had by all!

Common questions:

Can I walk into town from this property?
Yes, of course. The downtown area of Old Orchard Beach is only 1/3 mile. One can easily walk along the beach to the pier and up the main street. Or one can walk along West Grand Ave. It too is a nice walk with safe sidewalks on either side of the street.

Do you rent in the off-season? fall, winter and early Spring time?
Yes. We rent our property year round. Popular off-season dates include Columbus day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years' Eve, Valentine's day, Easter, Memorial Day weekend.

What is the weather like in Old Orchard Beach, Maine in May, June, July, August & September, October? Typical temperatures are as follows:
May: mid 70's
June: mid to high 70's
July: mid 80's
August: low to mid 80's
September: mid to high 70's
October: mid to high 60's

Is it too cold to enter the sea in the summertime?
Absolutley not! beach goers are in the ocean throughout the summer. In mid July 2021 the ocean temperature reached 74 degrees!

Can I book this property to host an event?
Over the years we have hosted weddings, memorial services, graduations & Big birthday celebrations, reunions, & Work / group retreats.

I am not sure what the final number of guests will be. I understand above 12 guests you charge $50 per person per night. Can I let you know what the final number will be closer to the date of my booking?

Yes, absolutely. This is very common. As soon as friends or family members see photos of the beachfront property their busy schedule often times opens up, and they wish to come along.

I am trying to book for next summer but I cannot locate any available dates why is this?
We have opened our calendar to accept new bookings for the summer of 2026. We accept Saturday to Saturday reservations only from the middle of June through the beginning of September with a 7 night minimum stay. If these dates do not work for you and your guests we recommend booking alternative dates in May, June, September or October as Old Orchard Beach is just as beautiful in the late Spring / early summer / late summer & early fall, or booking one of our other beach properties
