"My family of 4, including a 16 and 17 year old, LOVED staying at this home. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to just enjoy it! The home is both cozy and very up to date, the animals were a joy to see and Colleen was very communicative. The views were beautiful and the home location was perfect. We felt like we were far away, but we were actually close to many of our planned activities and town. I highly recommend this home!"

"Room was clean and tidy. However the drive way was so steep that our standard Corolla grounded so hard we had to park at the McDonald’s next door a higher SUV tho would be ok can I suggest that if possible the top of the drive be flattened a bit. The house was very good value and the instructions spot on so aside from the drive a very good value for money stay Thanks"

"The property was well presented and of a high standard. Our group of 8 people really enjoyed our stopover there.4 start rating due to lack of bedroom furnishings/wardrobes in all bedrooms and driveway prone to flooding. (Car in 5cm water after overnight rainfall)."

"Terrific stay, highly recommend. Joe and Cynthia are fantastic hosts. Our family of five visited NZ from California. This was one of our favorite stays on the trip. Enjoy the four bedrooms and all the amenities - kayaks for the lake, pool, hot tubs, gym, trampoline, basketball hoop, etc. "

"Lovely venue, with a great lake view. House was clean, and check in was easy. Comfortable beds and bedding. A wonderful overnight stay for our group of 10.Minor complaint about some of the cleaning up items available (there were no dishwasher tablets available, so had to pop to the shop in the morning of check out to get some) Also there was no cork screw bottle opener so I couldn't open a bottle of wine :-(Otherwise it was a great experience"
