We didn’t check the check-in time, so we were late at the check-in, so please do remember to check-in time is 3 pm to 6 pm. I still feel very bad because of my fault, but the host was really nice and friendly to us. He was very patient and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. He brought us to the house and explain to us carefully about every detail of the house.

"A bit tricky if you don’t have a car. With that in mind, I can say that the room is bigger than most, the deep bath is nice and there’s free coffee/chocolate in the community room. Free single entry tickets to an onsen place within 5 min walk are also given at check in if you don’t want to make your way to Kannawa. The hotel seems to be making an effort."

We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest.
