"I had a studio room on the third floor. Each unit is decorated independently and mine was really impressive. The blue and white tile, countertop and sink made it look fancy. The cute table was useful. The blue chairs were cute but worn on the arms. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge, stovetop and sink were useful. There is no dishwasher so dishes must be hand washed. The patio was nice. One thing that was irritating was the noise from the outdoor seating area/back grassy area below travels...

"As a first time guest, I didn’t expect much beyond a basic beachside hotel stay with my dog. The first level dog friendly rooms were surprisingly quiet.The rooms were spacious and clean, with easy access to the outdoor pet relief area and the beach. "The staff while friendly had no idea about the area in general. They charged me twice for a deposit accidentals and did not return the deposit.
The room was nice facing the ocean. However, if you are noise sensitive you might want to request a room without a door connecting the room next door.
Also if you want to sleep with the window open, there is a little water overflow area, just outside the windows facing the water, where frogs like to nest and croak all night.

"The room was you get what you pay for! I am not a perfectionist so was able to tolerate any downfalls, It was clean yet aged. So go for it, we are planning to return as the room was almost half priced AND it is the closest hotel to the beach, walking time about 3-4 minutes in Ocean Shores."
