Love the neighborhood and home

Perfect place

This place is much nicer than what you see in pictures. The space was just perfect for our family. I will definitely stay at this rental again. It’s within walking distance from the beach,the pool was nice everyone enjoyed all the amenities this place offers.

Beach vacation

We had a great time. The house was big enough and peacefully overlooked the canal. It had what we needed but was not full of personal knickknacks. It was a great home base.

Sunset Island Get Away

What a great Townhouse !! The location, resort amenities and staff were all wonderful. Close to beach, stores, and restaurants. The host contacted us before and during to make sure everything was in order to ensure easy check in/ out. We had drinks and food by the bar overlooking the bay , all excellent!!. (Craig the bar tender is the best ) . We will definitely book again next year and Stay longer.

The home overall was clean, however the carpets on the second floor in the bedrooms were not clean, lots of stains. The second floor bathroom curtains were also stained, the white couch in the family room was also very stained and the railings on the stairs were loose. Other than that the home was very clean. The kitchen was my favorite part of the home and where we stayed the most. The location of the home is also our most favorite, Sunset Island has so many amenities to offer a family. and just a walk away from the beach. We love it there.

Beach stay

My family and I just stayed at this property. A lot of electrical outlets did not work, toilet holders in most of the bathrooms are broken, parking and pool/beach rules are extreme. Plenty of room in the house and we enjoyed the canal view. Tv didn’t work in bathroom or master bedroom.

Could use some work

Its a decent property and the neighborhood is fantastic but its basically empty inside, has very poor television options, and has no sheets or blankets. A few small improvements would go a long way to being much more comfortable.

Four-story townhouse

The home was nice. It did not give a beachy vibe at all. The downstairs carpeting was dark brown and very stained. The upstairs. Carpeting is very old and matted down. There was literally four television stations.

Family weekend

Lacking towels and linens was a big issue. I did not like having to order sheets and being towels. There were no smart TVs to watch Disney or Netflix. Just 2 local channels ... It was a nice place but for the money, I'll choose better next time.

Nice house and community

This house and neighborhood were very nice. The indoor pool was great! The owner was very responsive when we had an issue upon arrival with a broken deadbolt preventing access to the deck. The issue was addressed within 2 hours. My only complaints are that the kitchen is not equipped all that well and there is only the most basic cable with about 12 channels. There were no channels for children. Overall, we had a nice time staying here.

Great community; townhouse was dirty upon arrival.

The community was great overall and I would highly recommend staying in Sunset Island. There is a pool, market, and walking path on the property. It was also gated and safe. This townhouse was dirty upon our arrival; showers had soap scum on the stains on all the shower doors, the floor, hair on the floor, rings around the toilets, sand on the floor, books were holding up the bed on the top floor - like the bed frame had broken, and we actually found two pairs of mens boxers inside the hideaway bed! For the money spent, we expected it to be clean. We had to take time when we first got there to take care of this. Also, there weren’t enough plates and silverware for everyone.

Nice place, plenty of room. Only draw back was rental didn't have a home feeling. Very sterile feeling, main family room felt empty and need more lounge seating. Kitchen plates, bowls and glasses were very limited. Only setting for 8 people. If owner provides more of those items, additional lounge chairs, rugs and a touch of home feeling would definitely give it a 10. Beds were extremely comfortable and place was in very good condition including the furniture!

BEAUTIFUL HOME

The house is well located for walking to the beach and to some stores. The house is four stories and you can easily get lost. Large kitchen with some basic kitchen supplies. Ice maker in refrigerator door. Garage has a refrigerator to keep bait and storage in garage are nice to store the fishing poles. Fishing pier in community is a quick walk and there are two small beaches. Communication with owner was great, very responsive.

Very nice house

Love the house, very good location, beautiful scenery and peaceful. The owner is very nice and helpful. The only problem issue we had was a broken shower door and bed frame on one of the beds but overall very nice

Sunset Island- Best Location in OC

Positives - townhouse was very clean & in a great location for getting to coffee shop/general store, pool, bay & gym! Owner was extremely helpful & prompt on getting back to me on any issues we had with the house! Negatives- lots & lots of steps! Kitchen was not as well equipped as I would have liked & the tv in the master bath was not working. Also, there was no garage key pad or remote for it which was a big inconvenience but owner was going to hopefully do something about that in the near future. Overall, had a great stay & definitely recommend staying in Sunset Island when coming to Ocean City, especially for families with children!
