"Lou-Anne and Rick were extremely helpful and accommodating. The cabin was immaculate, well-appointed, and picturesque. We asked to bring our small boat and they helped us with logistics and navigation of the ponds. Lots of fish and fun. Our family our last gasp of summer ."

"This cabin is brand new, under three weeks old. It is in a very quiet area. ATV trailhead is just down the street maybe a 1/4 mile. We didn't stay here to ride the trails but to see family. Cabin has a queen bed, fold out (very comfortable) couch. Huge bathroom with shower/tub. Lots of storage. Kitchen with a big stove. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to questions. "A lovely week - it just went too darned fast! Kay provides a comfortable, generously stocked home. The beds were some of the best we've encountered. The house is convenient to the mountains, waterfalls and swimming holes, as well as grocery stores and ice cream spots (a MUST for any Maine vacation!). "

"The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. "The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. "The beach was exactly what I was searching for and made this our winning choice for a family vacation especially for our little kids. It was very quiet and comfortable even though there’s a whole line of cabins along the beach, which I didn’t realize when booking but turned out just fine! The AC didn’t circulate well upstairs but we were brought a fan right away and after that it was perfect. We would absolutely come back!"
