    The Pool is open memorial day to first week in October. The hours are 8:30 am to 8:00 p.m. The pool is subject to close early if there is possibility of extreme weather, hazardous pool conditions, or for maintenance WITHOUT notice. We will give you notice as soon as we are notified ourselves. We will not give any refunds if the pool is closed no matter what. It’s out of our control.

Quiet and relaxing

October Getaway

This condo was perfect for three generation of beach lovers. To awake to the ocean sunrise out our windows, to have breakfast on the roomy balcony, to find all the comforts we needed, made for a perfect time.

We had a great time at Oak Island and the condominium was very convenient to restaurants and of course the beach. It was relaxing and had what we needed in the condo. The weather was great and the beach was clean and the water was warm.

Awesome family trip

Every thing was as listed. Beautiful view of the beach, the kids loved the pool. Quiet little neighborhood and everyone was friendly.

Perfectly Adequate

The space was perfect for our visit. It was nice to have 2 king size beds & 2 bathrooms. The view was nice and the seating was adequate. The kitchen was small, but we were only having a light breakfast there. I thought it was a good value.

Caswell Beach Condo with Ocean Views!

We really enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located Caswell Beach condo. The condo is decorated with modern decor and we were welcomed with a small basket of snacks, waters and other extras! The ocean view is fantastic and the condo is steps to the beach. Guests are provided with a Vacation Guide with restaurant and other recommendations, which is very helpful. We will definitely come back for a return visit!

Beach Escape-Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay on Oak Island very much!! It was a beautiful week there. The condo was so great for all of our needs. 8 adults from two families and we had plenty of room. The beach view was mesmerizing and we watched the dolphins all week. Our stay was amazing and we had everything we could possibly need. We even had a little surprise basket when we arrived. Very pleased.

Nice location and comfortable getaway

This was our first trip to Oak Island and we enjoyed the area a great deal. Walking distance to pier and restaurants. 5 mile round trip to the Oak Island Lighthouse. Condo is on 2nd floor. Nina and Andy have put their personal touch on the property for a comfortable getaway.

Perfect Escape!

Nice getaway weekend with my kids and my parents. Everyone slept comfortably. I didn't even care that it rained the whole time. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the covered deck or living area. Kitchen has bare necessities. Bring all your paper gproducts and toiletries.

Location of property was easily accessible, beautiful view and the overall building was great. That’s about the end of the glowing reviews for this property. Overall just unclean, bed linens were stained with new and old stains, floors felt grimy, walls were stained, couch was stained and had a cover over it to conceal the condition. Coffee pot was missing from the coffee maker. I felt completely duped by the listing photos because it looked pristine and clean and it absolutely was not, these pictures have to be quite old. We were pretty bummed by the condition of the condo and extremely glad that we travel with all of our own linens. I would not book this condo again.

Nice condo

We rented this condo for a last minute family vacation. It was exactly like the description, which is always good. Location is great, as it is straight ahead at the bottom of the bridge. It was nice that towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towel, hand soap, dish soap, scrubber, trash bag, etc was provided. The host even left snacks which my daughter loved. Quiet community with families vacationing.

This is the first VRBO that I have stayed at that did not have coffee or soap provided, not complaining, I may have missed the fine print. The cleaning was a little lacking, but acceptable.

Please do not stay here — so dirty

This was the dirtiest rental we have ever stayed in. Dishwasher full and washer and dryer had dirty linens in them upon arrival. Bedspreads had been pulled up over dirty beds. Dirt and hair etc all in sheets. We had to go to store and buy sheets and bedspreads and cleaning supplies just to get to bed the first evening. Couch has a cover on it because it’s so dirty.. not at all like picture. We eventually left early as it ruined the vacation. We should have paid attention to the previous reviews… be sure and read them. VRBO is not being helpful at all either. I just want to keep someone else from having this same experience

Improvements Needed

The location is great (steps from beach). The unit is in need of painting & general refresh (furniture). The thermostat worked at times but had to be disconnected & recharged. Setting & maintaining temperature in unit was difficult. Seemingly simple adjustments would boost experience & rating.

Good condo

We stay at Oak Island several times each year. The view from the condo was fantastic, although we did feel the condo was pretty bare bones. There were no drawers to unpack clothing in the bedrooms only closets to hang items. No selves in the bathroom to put out toiletries. Showers never got hot, stayed lukewarm. With all of that being said we were together as a family and that’s what this trip was about. We didn't need a lot of extras we made it work.

Everything was great except for the fact we needed parking passes as the property management company was scoping the lot for cars without them. We received a notice on our cars stating that they were at risk of being towed. I had contacted the host regarding this and never heard back.

Good location, but wouldn’t stay again

Proximity to beach access was great. Layout and space of the unit was nice, however, the cleanliness and amenities were disappointing. Upon arrival, there was standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it smelled horrible. Makes me think the cleaners stopped it mid cycle to save time and it never drained. Both king beds had sand in the sheets. The towels provided were awful. They were rags like something I would dry my car with. The patio furniture needs upgrading as well. The unit has great potential but needs some investment/upgrades.. because I wouldn’t stay again. I’ve stayed in other places that offered more for the same price or even less. I expected decent sheets and towels at this price point.
