"This was a very nice hotel that we chose for a short, weekend staycation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have mandatory valet parking which is an additional $40 a day, but honestly, there is very limited parking in the immediate area so it’s just easier to walk everywhere. When the weather is nice, I’m sure it’s great, but the Florida heat is unforgiving. Anyway, it’s a nice place."

The beach was not too inviting but the pool areas were very nice. Had trouble getting wi fi and Netflix. The Stores were mostly apparal oriented. Not very interesting. The buffet breakfast was excellent The architecture of the buildings is beautiful. Worth a visit. Much better than any chain hotel.

Breakfast was expensive. The Treetop and roof pool area was inviting and even though we were here in July there's a nice breeze with comfy shaded cabanas. The staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. "

"This is a place where the staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and throughout your stay.
We stayed at the Colony Hotel in the low season which means that not too many guest were staying at the hotel at the time and there was always a helpful staff member nearby.
While we had no problems getting sunbeds by the pool this may not be the case if your stay is during high season."

The dining area was far too small, and there wasn’t enough space for us during breakfast. They had also run out of milk.
