"The AKA in West Palm Beach is a great hotel. I have stayed here before and have had a very positive experience both times. I had a one bedroom suite with a comfortable bed, balcony and view of the pool and Inter Coastal waterway. The location can’t be beat. It is Close to restaurants and shopping. The A1 market is very convenient and has good breakfasts and lunches. I was given a $30.00 credit for booking through Expedia. The hotel also gave me a credit. The savings was taken off my bill...

"This is a place where the staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and throughout your stay.
We stayed at the Colony Hotel in the low season which means that not too many guest were staying at the hotel at the time and there was always a helpful staff member nearby.
While we had no problems getting sunbeds by the pool this may not be the case if your stay is during high season."

"The air conditioning didn’t work, and a dehumidifier was set up, which made a lot of noise. The room smelled damp. The dining area was far too small, and there wasn’t enough space for us during breakfast. They had also run out of milk. The receptionist who welcomed us could have used a bit more warmth and a smile."
