"We stayed in late Oct 2024. Cabin is older, but very clean. Was a bit chilly in the main room in the evenings (temps in low to mid 40’s); the heaters seemed to have some trouble keeping up. There is a wood burning fireplace in the main room which would have helped, I’m sure, but we were just there in the evenings and didn’t go to the trouble to build a fire. There is an electric fireplace in the bedroom, so it stayed adequately warm at night. The views were beautiful of the sunrises on Lake...

"Very clean cabin andgood communication with owners. It took a minute to find this place because it was so eloquently placed into the forest to insuring a minimal destruction to the ecosystem. We really enjoyed spending time at the beach. We visited in April so it was definitely an off-season time to be there. My only request would be to get rid of the Wi-Fi and just force us all to be outside."

"A great place to stay in Birchwood with friends and family. The place was clean and had everything that we needed to make us feel at home. The host was friendly, helpful, and accommodating at every point during the booking process. The only issue we came across was the slightly confusing access road...perhaps additional signage would help clarify direction toward the property a bit better. Otherwise, no complaints! "My wife and I own a very reactive dog that loves to explore the outside but hates cars and other dogs. This property was excellent. Tons of open space he could roam off leash on a beautiful little lake. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors with him. Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to stay for the weekend."

"This place checked all the boxes for a long weekend. “Limited mobility” friendly with bedroom and shower on main level. Loved the walk with the puppy to exercise and see wildlife and sunsets. Everything you needed, well supplied for families and out of way for quiet getaways. Would definitely return (with matches for the fire pit). "

"Hidden Bear cabin was beautiful! Everything we needed or wanted was there. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The place was clean and very comfortable. "Reception was friendly and welcoming. The pool area and the playground were very clean and well kept, the rooms’ temperature control, fireplace, dishwasher, oven…all worked well. All the pans, pots, dishes and silverware we needed were included. Comfy beds and overall cozy atmosphere. The place is dated but well kept. The game room was very small (three arcade games, one foosball table). "
