"We had the best time at this cabin at Alpina Lake Resort. My kids had a long weekend off so we decided to try a new getaway spot. The cabin was perfect for my family woth two kids 5 and 10 and my sister also stayed with us. The cabin was so nice to have two living areas and the deck plus plenty of bedrooms. "Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. "Good - staff were nice, early check in requested and granted, safe, bed comfortable, nice view of mountains at resort, can tell that place was probably a destination worthy to stop and stay back in the day.Not so good - resort roads are rough, rooms are not updated, outside needs improved groundskeeping for aesthetics. forget taking bath as bathtub is from Abraham Lincoln days, bottom of tub is a slip and fall waiting to happen as the area you stand on moves up and down and not secured, and...
