The surroundings are peaceful, the wildlife is incredible, and there are plenty of kangaroos around the area — often hopping past at dawn and dusk. Do be aware that winter nights get very cold, so it’s essential to bring warm clothing. With that in mind, it’s a wonderful and memorable stay."
