"Cottage was lakefront, view was great. Washroom a little tight. Had rain all night when we stayed and lots of killer mosquitoes next day. Still reeling from mosquito bites lol. Pack good amount of repellents if planning to stay. Very serene and quiet for relaxation. Only twelve minutes drive from town of Espanola. Mark and his dad were were very accommodating and communicative. Overall, it was great."

The owners were easy to contact and even left a surprise for the visitors! The hiking trails were limitless and offered a range from easy to difficult. We came to the area to show it to a French exchange student that is living with us, but it was mine and my daughters’ first time there too. "The positives are that the cabin had lots of space, modern, clean, had everything you need (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, stove, wine/beer opener, dishes, cutlery etc. The host Mike had good communication and honoured his agreement with me. Some improvements could be to add mat or something on master bedroom shower floor as it is very slippery. The Couch in living room is stained so recommend it be steam cleaned or replaced. "Damp smell throughout the house especially in the basement, there are 3 bedrooms at the main level and 2 bedrooms in the basement. The bedrooms in the basement were not used because there were many earwigs. As a result two adults slept on the couch in the living room. The kitchen was not cleaned. The dishwasher was not usable. Very dirty. We washed manually the dishes. The coffee maker did not work. We have used mostly paper plates and cups that luckily we brought from home. There was no air...
