"5 stars plus!!!! This North Webster IN vacation home was exactly as described and more! There were 8 of us - 3 generations. Check in was a breeze - there were many gasps of pleasure upon entering this home and walking up the hall to see the amazing 1st look at the lakefront. As promised the kitchen had everything we needed and more. All the rooms were lovely - so fresh! The kids stayed in the "Boat Room" - loved it - and all the table & board games outside of it. "Remodeled old hotel with outdoor entrances. No elevator, but each of the two buildings has only two floors. Water leaking onto concrete balcony in a couple places. No smoking allowed, yet the room smelled like someone had smoked in the room. Breakfast was fair: scrambled eggs, muffin with American cheese, juices from dispenser, cereal, awful bakery, coffee and tea. The bacon was horrible. Showerhead is quite small; I have never seen one that small. Bathtub was so old that the top coat was worn...

"This hotel is relatively new and is just beginning to show some signs of wear like chipping here and there is the bathroom, scratches on the bedside table, small holes in the window blind. It is generally very quiet there and the walls seem to be thick enough to block out the TV or other normal sounds from adjacent rooms. If you value quiet, don't take a room on the first floor. It's too close to the lobby where people gather and play games, pool, etc in the evenings. In cold weather, I miss...

"The rooms were fine and clean. Our stay was just overnight so we didn’t need much. Bfast was good the next morning and staff was friendly. If you aren’t looking for anything fancy but just need a comfortable stay, I’d say book it."
