I've had the luxury of traveling to a few of the Hawaiian Islands, but Kauai has been by far my favorite. Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands. Due to the vast amounts of rainfall it receives, it's covered by the most lush green foliage and tropical plants you'll see on any of the islands. It's for this reason it's been aptly named the Garden Island.
This particular section of Kauai is called the Na Pali Coastline. It is far too rugged to be accessed by vehicle, therefore, the only way to experience it is by hiking, air or sea. I was so awestruck by it's unique beauty, that I had to experience all three. This photo was taken by helicopter. Although my horizon line in this photo drives me crazy, the experience outweighs my irritation so I wanted to share it. If you've ever wanted to take a helicopter ride, I highly suggest you do it here. Not only will you be able to see this incredible view of the Na Pali Coastline, but you'll be able to see many of the other equally unique and awe inspiring canyons and valleys that make Kauai a one of a kind experience. #colorful

Photo Tip: Wear dark clothing if your helicopter has windows. Otherwise, you'll get home only to find your photos have bad reflections in them.

"Such an incredible place to stay! This condo has everything you could possibly need and the view was spectacular. The building is also nice and close to the parking lot and restaurants. The washer and dryer was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again. The next time we come to Kauai you just won’t believe how beautiful the grounds are!"

"Everything was in great condition! While the unit is a smallish studio, using the table and chairs on the lanai made it feel bigger. We also appreciated the induction cooktop, microwave and fridge, and plenty of kitchenware that made it easy living. "

"This was a great place. My family loved it and it was perfect for the 6 of us. 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Great location and easy to get to. Great view on the golf course. We were at the beach most of the time and did not get a chance to use the community pool. I would stay here again for sure. "
