"We loved the quiet area. Was close to shopping. Host was very nice. Overall a good place to stay. Close to things to do."

"It was a quiet place! Nice clean and comfortable inside. The water scenery around the property was beautiful! Tarpon swimming around! Alligators swimming around! 20-30 minutes from Venice beaches! All in all was a great spot for a weekend getaway! And its also pet friendly which is great!"

"My husband and I were visiting family and friends in the area. It was a perfect place for us! It was a convenient location for beaches, etc. Definite 5 stars from us!"

"The odor of dampness lingers but everything was clean and very nice. The master bed has a sleep number mattress that doesn't adjust. The right side is stuck at 25, and the left side is stuck at 45. It's very soft. It was not comfortable for us. The pillows were also lacking in support. I unfolded sleeper, sofa, and it was not any better. The bathroom is lovely and clean. Lots of spare towels in bedroom closet. Kitchen is well equipped and very clean. Desi is very, very kind, responsive and...

"Great location and set-up of the property. On site- grill, beach wagon, umbrellas, sifters, shell shovels, etc.. Very quiet location and can walk across the street to see the sunset. Beaches are very close, as well is dining, and water craft rentals. Checkin/out very easy. I recommend this location for your vacation rental."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Inn. The place was very clean and very well equipped. It is tucked away and in a very quiet area. There is a great park across the street with nice walking paths and fishing pier. It is very close to everything."

"The unit was clean and the Hot tube was amazing! The stay was enjoyable and very relaxing! I was in a down stairs unit so there was some noise with heavy footed people above me but it was a great place.Suggest that maybe more cooking pots for making dinner."

"Everything was clean, well-appointed and beautiful. Would absolutely stay again."

"Beautiful property"

"The place was nice and you could tell it was recently updated. The one bedroom and bathroom with small kitchenette was exactly what we needed for a short weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. The owners were very communicative and it was easy to check in and out. Some things I do want to mention is when we pulled up, we realized we were sharing the space. I didn’t see anything on the listing that it was a shared space other than the fact it said “suite” but there were no other indications. It...

"Our room was very clean. We enjoyed a heated pool a couple of times. It was a good vacation for us as we were visiting with family and friends in Englewood and Venice. We also traveled south to Punta Gorda to a sculpture garden. This would be a perfect place to stay for a few more weeks."
