"Hotel staff was so pleasant. Room was great. Newly renovated. Construction is outside, which at first worried us driving in, but it did not cause any problems. Walked down to the trail and tasted the fresh spring water. If you want to go to the fresh spring spa near by, make sure you book an appointment for a soak in advance. Disappointed we didn’t because we then couldn’t get a time that worked for us. "

"Ligger et naturskønt sted med udsigt til Mount Rushmore. Super modtagelse af personalet og rustikke og autentiske bygninger. Værelset var på det jævne og en smule slidt, men ikke noget der generede os. Super god morgenmad med æg, pølser (ingen bacon), vafler, brød osv.. Wifi var meget ringe og fungerede stort set ikke."

"We attended a wedding on this property and we had higher expectations for the hotel considering the high price. The area is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The price is exorbitant considering the condition of the hotel and the tv's have limited channels and were NOT High Definition, just like the old days. The food in the dining room was not worth the price tag. "

"Where do i begin? I grew up in Rapid City and went to Canyon Lake park frequently as a child. Now after moving away, and having not being able to stay with family, we needed a new place to gather. What an amazing facility the resort is! They have everything you need for a largebor small gathering. The availability of the lodge, or cabins was perfect for a reunion/95th birthday party for 40 people! I cannot recommend Canyon Lake resort enough!"

"Værelserne var som sådan ok, men vi havde brug for sovesofaen, og der må vi tilstå, at vi ikke er tilfredse - den var slidt og ikke så lækker med pletter på det underlag, der skulle på.
