"Beautiful hotel overlooking the mountains. The Sunset Terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset while having a drink or dinner. Two large stone fireplaces in the main lobby add to the ambiance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are several restaurants to choose from, including an ice cream shop and gift shops. "You stay was okay. The TV's a little hard to figure out at first and the housekeeping doesn't come every day only on the day you leave and under the arrive. If you need any toiletries in the middle or towels or anything you need to go to the front desk which is kind of a stupid pain and because housekeeping is on the floor everyday just not in your room. Also I received a message offering me early registration or sign in and a upgraded room. When I got there early I was told that that was...

"The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...

"As stated above and very much loved our suite..... decor, age of the buildings, grounds and staff. If were back in Charleston, we'll stay with you again"

"Check in was simple and easy, parking is in a lot half a block across the street. Room interior was as described, balcony was tiny, barely enough room for 2 people. Kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. Stove and oven was tricky to figure out as all the markings on the knobs have worn off. Property was ok, small basic pools indoor and out. Good place for 2-3 people max. Access to the beach was good. Overall I'd give it a low 4 overall."

"I had asked for a room higher up fir the view. They put me on the 2nd floor with the pool right outside my patio and the parking lot and pool pumps on the other side. Loud was an understatement. The young lady that checked me in said I see you requested top floors but we put you on the 2nd floor. One call to the desk from that room and we were switched to the 9th floor. We had no kids with us and booked months in advance. Just not sure why we were put on the 2nd floor to begin with. We...
