B&B i North og South Carolina

"Fantastisk hyggeligt “badehotel” oi den gamle stil og med god service."

"The property was beautiful and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Coffee and tea provided in the room, and a lovely hot breakfast along with yogurt, granola and fruit. Would definitely stay again. Easy walk to many delicious restaurants."

"Second bed in room didn't have a mattress, very uncomfortable. Booked room for 2 adults and 2 kids. They charged us for two adult breakfasts? Staff was very unfriendly, manager/owner never showed me the courtesy of calling me as requested."

"Loved the room and the Southern Hospitality"

"My wife and I had such a romantic time here!"

"Paul, the owner, is absolutely amazing. So many beautiful antiques. Breakfast was delightful. We are coming back again next year!"

"They make their own beer and it's free to the guests. And it tastes good. The home is 1 block from the water front where there are many restaurants."

"First, the "oceanfront" label is misleading. You cannot see the ocean from this property — and as every beach traveler knows, we pay extra for oceanfront specifically to *see the ocean*. Neither Expedia nor the property's own listings make this clear. They need to be honest about this in their advertising. Second, privacy and security are real concerns. My suite's sliding door opens essentially straight onto the beach with no barrier — I never felt safe leaving it open to hear the waves,...

"The hospitality was top notch, the property just added to it thru and thru!! I will definitely be back, and I recommend it 100%. The town of Marshall will take u back to a Norman Rockwell painting of a forgotten time in America that will be remembered as soon as u are transported there! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!"

"Nice and charming hotel from back in the days. Whats not to like about sitting on the front porch, in a rocking chair, with a beer or a glass off wine. The interior is ol’ school and again charming. The room was very nice and with AC. The breakfast room was nice and clean and breakfast was really good and so was the coffee. Hotel is just a short walk from downtown Hendersonville, with cosy shops, good dining and a cigarbar. It was a very nice visit and stay at 1898 Waverly Inn."

"We have been coming for many years, unfortunately the breakfast and the evening apps and drinks have gone down in quality. We still come as still a good deal in the folly location, just sad to see that the amenities aren't what they used to be."

"Loved that there was a continental breakfast included as well as an evening wine and snacks provided. Perfect location for beach access. Only suggestion I would have is having beach chairs and a pool shade umbrella - even for a fee. We flew in and rented a car so had to go out and purchase beach chairs"

"Convenient to town, very comfortable mattress, but run down, and staff were not terribly helpful."

"Gorgeous setting, Welcoming Atmosphere. Innkeeper so hospitable , provided references for resturants. Stunning interiors, The waiter at breakfast was such a joy.Attended to so many sweet details in serving the breakfast.Such a cultured, knowledgeable and friendly conversationalist. I’m wanting to go back for another meal. A darling historical inn. I have referred all my friends."
