"It's such a nice place in such a charming area. Their thatched roof looks so very cool. Their staff is just excellent, they all take pride in doing an excellent job. I met the sous chef twice, she and her husband (the chef) make a great team. They have a lovely old bar and I took two friends there for the Sunday roast dinner. They have a good sized parking lot. You won't be at all disappointed."

The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn.."

"Interesting old pub in historic Cerne Abbas. Restaurant and bar are excellent. Food is prepared well and served hot! Our room was tiny. It had an old bed with an uncomfortable mattress that should be replaced. Pillows were not great. Heating was on a timer, so it was cold when we arrived and came on when at dinner. Heating was not operating in the morning."

"The hotel area is very nice and food is excellent. However the room was very poor. It was small, had a large low beam right across the access areas of the room that is impossible to avoid. The room was freezing when I arrived and the TV didn't work, despite the best efforts of the staff"

"The bed was clearly very old as the mattress was lumpy and had a ridge where people before me had slept. The fridge leaked on to the carpet even though there was nothing in there. The pub good was very good though"

"Efter en lang dag ved Bath og Stonehenge nåede vi frem til Grosvenor Arm's i Hindon, Salisbury. Og hvilket skønt sted. For det første havde vi fået fine mails fra stedet forud for vores ophold, som inspirerede os til blandt andet at besøge det nærliggende estate og park Stourhead. En smuk, smuk oplevelse, som vi ikke selv havde fundet. Også Gold Hill i nærliggende Shaftesbury fik vi set. Vel fremme på hotellet blev vi mødt af den fineste stemning og det mest venlige personale. "Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged."
