"The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. "Great base for our family holiday to Caister. Well appointed had everything you would need. Plenty of towels which was good as we needed one in the kitchen for drying hands. Did not mention in advert that was right next door to a pub, most nights this was not an issue as the bedrooms are at the front, but on the Saturday there was a live band in the pub which was very loud and went on until 11.30pm. The glazing at the front of the property was great and kept most of the traffic noise out,...

"We loved everything about the cottage, it was just a shame that it was not the cleanest when we arrived. The floor left our toddlers feet black, there were some dirty items in the cupboards, and the garden had what looked like cleaning wipes in it. But still, the location was amazing - only a short walk to a quiet part of Bacton beach, where we saw seals. We also got a nice bottle of Prosecco and some muffins to welcome us. The beds were comfy too."
