"A beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly staff the bar was intimate and relaxed, our room was very well equipped and beautifully decorated with equality furnishings and fittings we had a spacious bathroom with shower above a bath. The continental breakfast had a good selection, I especially liked their pre soaked muesli which was full of nuts and fruit and shredded apple something I will try to reproduce, we had a full cooked breakfast the following day which was a little underwhelming, it's...

The only drawback to staying in Rhianfa Lodge was the steepness of the slope up from the car park and of the steps down to the gardens and main hotel, especially in the rain - but then, we are not as agile as we once were! We liked the quirky music room, and the cosy bar with its array of Welsh beers and spirits....
