"We had an amazing week! Gary and Linda were great hosts. We found out on the way to the property that they had a pontoon boat that we could rent. We rented it for 4 days. That was definitely the highlight for us.The house was large enough for all 8 of us. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, a coffee maker, toaster, dishes, crock pots, and anything else we needed to cook.The lake is very quiet. We fished and swam every day. "We loved this cabin. It was comfortable, situated in a heavily wooded community. The screened in porch was huge and a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. We had come from triple digit heat indexes. This stay was just what we needed. "

"The cabin was clean, spacious, and a cozy place to relax! The kitchen and dining space made for a great place to make family meals together. We enjoyed renting the pontoon and cruising around the lake. The property has many different outside gathering spaces that we took full advantage of! We had 10 adults and 2 kids and this cabin fit us all comfortably. We had a wonderful stay- thank you for creating a warm and inviting cabin for families to create memories in! "

"It was very private and quiet. It was close enough to town to bike back and forth. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The porch was lovely but did have a couple of gaps for mosquitos to get in. I brought some 3m Thermocell and that helped with mosquitos. The stairs are not for the faint at heart or if you get up a lot at night. I alway hate the extra cleaning fees as I don’t make a mess and to me, that is the cost of doing business. The local taxes are high too. "

"We had a very nice week at Mia’s Black Dog Lodge. Everything about the house was top notch. Seeing many eagles around the lake was a huge bonus! One even landed in a tree next to the dock. Fishing from the dock was great for the little ones. Unfortunately the algae prevented us from getting into the water. This is a wonderful location and the lake is beautiful. "

"We just love these cottages and the community. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter. Everything is clean and this cottage had all the kitchen utensils and equipment needed. The only think is the upstairs area gets quite warm to due to fireplace having to be on. Maybe install another ceiling fan in the bedroom? We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit again."
