"I wanted a quiet and relaxing 2 day getaway where I could be right at the lake. Although this was more of a inlet of the lake, it was absolutely perfect spot. Because it was an inlet, the boats going by were going nice and slow, so it was nice to watch without their motors being loud. I spent most of my time outside on the porch relaxing, watching the lake, the boats going by and just reading my book. So relaxing. Can't wait to get back there again."

"Had a great experience. The tub had been refinished and I did not have the issues some of the other reviews mentioned. Was able to walk to downtown locations. Additional plus the unit I stayed in had a desk not shown in the pictures which made working during the day easier. I found the locks to work just fine, but the outer door lock did take a couple of trys to get the timing for tumbler engagement right."

"The place is bigger than it appears online and the location perfectly fit our needs. We were minutes from all that Florence has to offer and my son was able to fish on the docks in the back yard. If the place was not enough, Jana - the owner - was as accommodating as any host I have ever encountered. She does things the right way and I recommend the suite on the shoals without any reservation."
