"The inn looked very quaint on Expedia.com, but come to find out that the restaurant and bar next door are managed separately from the hotel. The manager of the restaurant/bar has nothing to do with the inn! Expedia did not show that this was self check in and that a code would be emailed to us! We stayed 2 nights, no staff on hand, no ice, the tv did not work and no one to call or go to to take care of these issues! There was no one to come in and make up the room! "This a 19th century hotel and has been kept to period. Bed was great, room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close train station and located in historic district. Great experience!"

"The property was beautiful, in a great location with outdoor seating areas for the guests. The owner thought of just about everything you may need during your stay and made them readily available. The only complaint I have was the bed in the Van Gogh room. It was aweful. It was old, extremely uncomfortable and should have been replaced long before my stay."
