"We were met by the owner immediately- even texted us asking about our ETA to be ready for us. Was ver knowledgeable of the area, and put customer comfort first. Really commend this business on everything they are trying to do. This business has topped anything I have seen before in just terms of effort and dedication to improve."

"This b&b is situated in a very cool area...The park across the street is great for a walk, or pickleball, tennis etc. The restaurants nearby are fantastic- no need to drive anywhere, really. Check out the Venice Cafe (actually a bar) for sheer funkiness..Dan, the friendly and garrulous host, provided sumptuous breakfasts and many helpful suggestions. We'll be back!"

"Quiet and Luke was a very kind host. If we needed anything he saw that he did it. The bath tub was a little hard to use for us older people. Overall we had a wonderful weekend. "

"This is a beautiful property and I would highly recommend it. I ate breakfast on the deck each morning, while I overlooked the Missouri river. You can also watch the sunrise as you lie in bed. It’s simply a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful property. The breakfasts were really great also. Overall, I had a very relaxing wonderful time."

"Mike is a great, easy-going guy. He gave us early access to the building & room. Convenient digital touchpad entry. He retained all the original woodwork, doors & windows that give the building a wonderful historic vibe. There is no better place to be centrally located for all of the downtown restaurants, shops, & historical sites. "

"Stone Haus is a beautiful property and a comfortable, cozy place to stay. Linda and Larry are such lovely hosts and their dog Maddie was a fun addition to our stay. The breakfast was delicious! We look forward to staying at Stone Haus again the next time we visit Hermann."

"Had a wonderful overnight stay, ourselves and another couple. Laura was great, and her bakery downstairs is delightful! We put the breakfast coupons to good use. Convenient location walking distance to all downtown shops, wineries and restaurants. Would happily stay again! "

"We enjoyed the ambiance in the building and loved the delivered breakfasts! The owner went above and beyond to help our children to be comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, especially compared to other rentals that we have stayed in. The neighbor has friendly cats that like to visit the church yard, but never caused any problems for us. We visited wineries and Meramec Caverns while in the area."
