"This was our first time in the Maldives and it exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely amazing. We paid extra to have a pool at our bungalow but the resort does have its own pool where we found ourselves most times so I would say it’s definitely not needed to have your own pool but it is nice to have one. "The Baros Island is beautiful and has an amazing house reef, with plenty of sharks, turtles, rays and an amazing array of beautiful fish. The resort in parts is a little tired and but the management are on the case. The food and service were first class and made for an delightful two weeks.
