"When we got to apartment complex we went up to our unit, put in code and when opened door there was someone's stuff in the apartment. Try to contact host but didn't get a response. Lucky for us, someone came into clean and he was able to contact another person who co-owned property. We were given a different apartment; however, we worried that it may have been reserved by someone else. There is a restaurant on the first floor that had bands all weekend which were very loud upstairs.Also, just a...

"Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!"
