"I required a quiet, private place within walking distance of the park adjacent to the lake for an Ironman event. I needed to sleep early and sleep well. This property more than met my needs. No, it’s not new. Yes, paint is peeling on the exterior. I’ve stayed in 5* hotels in Asia. They have meticulous standards BUT you can also have noisy rooms nearby and not the privacy that allows one to dress down or in athletic wear. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "We loved our stay and couldn’t think of anything we would change. We wanted for nothing and were so comfortable. The house was immaculate! The outside area was so nice and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows and sipping coffee out in the peaceful yard. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This house is gorgeous. It's a really lovely setting in the trees just above the lake. The house is really lovingly and uniquely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The house is nice and quiet and you can sleep with the windows open and get fresh air. All the amenities were present and easy to use - coffee maker and laundry facilities worked great. I would love to stay there again!"

"Baby Birch Banks is a beautiful vacation home in an amazing location. We stayed with our 9 year old daughter for a trip to Silverwood. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more! You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into every detail. The house is beautiful inside and out. We brought our kayak and paddled along the quiet water. Definitely recommend this place for 2-3 people."

"We had a very nice stay, the room was nice and clean, pool and fitness also very good. I was though very disappointed to find out the use of plastic! The complimentary breakfast was on plastic plates, plastic “silverware”, plastic “glasses”. Apart from it being a sad experience it also surpriced me that a hotel does not take more responsibility towards the environment and the climate crisis and at least use less plastic. Our room had a huge refrigerator and a dishwasher, but only 2 knives and 2 spoons, 2 plates etc. when we asked for more they gave us plastic. So really a nice hotel, but I hope management will rethink the use of plastic. We all have a responsibility."
