"We came to town for a wedding. This little cottage was the perfect location to anything and everything. Anywhere we needed to drive was minutes away. The day we wanted to check out the downtown shops, we loaded up the stroller and walked into town only maybe a half mile away. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Eureka. This little cozy cottage definitely embodies the vintage feel of the town. "

"We loved the location and it had everything we needed. We loved getting to walked up to Wanderoo bar, around the neighborhood and it was also a short walk into town. It is uphill on the way back but we wanted the exercise! It has a slight musty smell but that is to be expected with older buildings. Overall, we had a great experience here!"

"We loved our stay at Hawk’s View- Mountain Cottage. The location was close to restaurants, hiking and shops. The view was amazing, the cottage was very clean with a comfortable bed. It was the perfect location for a weekend getaway. "

"This is the 3rd time booking with Bill & Jennifer at Beaver Lake. Their properties are spotless and they have all amenities required to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We especially loved the openness of this lake home with stunning views! We appreciated having the kayaks for early morning peace and beauty on the lake. We highly recommend this property and are grateful to the owners for the extra touches and attention to detail that made our vacation so enjoyable!"
