"No, the room had a musty, moldy smell. I purchased room deoderant to cover the odor as much as possible during our stay. 4 out of 5 light bulbs in the dining area fixture were burned out and 1 was missing from a lamp in the living room. It would be good to have at least 1 sauce pan and a toaster. The living room couch was rock hard. I believe it may be a sleeper sofa, but it would be uncomfortable at best to sleep on. The view is beautiful!!! "

"Beautiful place, lots and lots of stairs. Waterfront is on a little lagoon that is made by the embankment for the train rt of way. Trains pass by occasionally, I found the sound kind of peaceful, but if you think you will be disturbed, bring ear plugs.There is a gorgeous fire place as the center of the house, but guests are not able to utilize it. The fire space on the beach is small and viney, but we made do. Just don't expect to sit around a fire for a long time.All in all, a very good stay...

"Incredible place. Stone’s throw from the ocean, with a beautiful beach to walk forever. Saw gray whales which was incredible. House is great, with beautiful views from bedroom of ocean and the lights of Victoria in the distance. Hot tub perfect. Loved watching the fighter jets take off and land. If you want to get away and really disconnect, this is the spot. "

"At first glance we were really excited. Great location, great view, wide open kitchen and living area. Arrived about 5pm started putting things away in the kitchen and started seeing roaches. Kristeen was very helpful but couldn’t find anything else for us. Spent two more nights in 3 hotel rooms. "

Having booked many times in VRBO, this was my first experience with them and it was bad from start to (early) finish!! They first required an extraordinary amount of info to even book the place - pics of ourselves holding ID, closeup pics of ID, closeup pics of our credits cards. Then their system failed to upload the images correctly so we had to text them all over again to a phone number. Then we arrived at the...

"One of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Spacious living areas and bedrooms, full kitchen, wood fireplace, and a fenced backyard for playing with our dog. Quick walk to a beach, and short drive to Coupeville. Would absolutely stay here again!"
