Loved having rooms with 4 to each section and space to sit outside or walk around lovely grounds. Children loved swings and heated outdoor pool. Special treats nightly . "This was a motel was in a great location (quiet, yet walkable to shops and dining), the staff was very friendly, the beds super comfortable, with daily housekeeping , if desired. The only drawback was the room lighting was dim, except in the bathroom. Highly recommend. "

"We loved our stay here! It's quiet, located close to Acadia and downtown. It has been updated in a retro decor that was suiting to the property. They have a nice refreshment area with beverages and popcorn, refill for Keurig, and cookies in the afternoon. Check-in is easy, they text you with lock code to your room. "If you like retro, this is the place for you. Great views and very nice surroundings. The room was dated, and the floor was sagging, causing the head of the bed to be lower than the foot area. Nice place to stay to enjoy the area though. The staff was friendly and very welcoming."

"The cabin was amazing and located close To a light house. Cabin had full amenities including usage of a washer and dryer. We sat out in morning in back area looking at forest. Location was perfect as you were within driving distance from everything but outside the major crowded areas. Hiking trails were great in the area and close to Acadia National Park. "What a charming place!!! We rented 7 of their 12 Cottages and Motel Units and had a wonderful week! They provide everything you'd expect PLUS more like Wood/Lighters and Fire starters - or a propane gas firepit if you prefer. Plenty of outdoor space!! The motel units are JUST as spacious and charming as the stand alone cottages - each is well Appointed and remodeled so nicely! "This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones!
