"I wanted the authentic Japanese experience and I got it with this property. Small apartment, small living with 2 adjustable sofa a simple tv and a small tables. As seen on tv guys. The beds are upstairs 2 beds 🛏️. In nakano area couple station away from Shinjuku Tokyo. There's a family mart and a grocery store at walking distance. As a barber shop close by, I shaved there. "Great location with easy access from main train station and plenty of restaurants options nearby. We travelled with two young kids and the playground behind the property was handy. However, if you are planning on cooking there is only one old frying pan."

"There is no chance all the 5 star reviews are legit. This place is gross. In addition to mystery stains on the furniture, they rooms they sell as non-smoking have a smoking patio 10m from the bed."

"This property is alright, if you are on a short stay. If you are staying for 3 or more days, I do not suggest as this is an unmanned property. I only got to know after booking was confirmed! There was no indication when I was booking! This is not friendly at all. Additionally, there were many small flies from my 2nd day onwards. I tried messaging property but response was slow. Had to get my local contact call them before they reacted. On top of that, when housekeeping was sent, a sloppy job...

While you can get into big city action easily with nearby late night Izakayas or Don Quixote shopping - the house itself is in a very calm and peaceful neighborhood.
