"Location was perfect, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants but at the same time tucked away in a quiet street. We were greeted by Marie who was so friendly and professional, providing great local info. The hotel is super-relaxed and tasteful in every way, with great rooms. "

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Completely central and yet very quiet, with a clean and airconditioned room by the pool, which was really nice and a wonderful place to cool down during the day. Great idea with coffee, cold water, bananas and biscuit at the reception."

"The Hotel is so big that it gives you the opportunity to burn calories. Always clean, everywhere smells good. The only thing was the Wi-Fi, you have to log in again in different places (maybe because its location is between the mountains) & also the TV cable doesn’t work by 1:00 AM. Anyway, me & my Family enjoyed our stay. We also there was nobody to give us the welcome drink at the lobby when we got there. After all, Riu Palace Costa Rica is highly recommended."

"Outstanding experience, this was IN nature rather than close to nature. Monkeys, iguanas, and hummingbirds all around us. The balcony offered us constant sights and not least sounds of the local wildlife. The pool offered spectaculsr views of the coastline below the steep hillsides. A very enjoyable stay, even if access is a bit challenging for a non-4x4 but we managed."
