"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. "There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,.
