"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

Absolutely spotless (not even a glimmer of a cobweb in sight which is a real bonus in such an old building!), huge bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, communal areas were great. Kitchen in particular had such great amenities. Beautiful garden, quiet area. I could go on. We loved our stay and will 100% be back!"

"When I arrived, I felt welcome at Coombe Cottage. The hosts’ attention to details was excellent- from the welcome basket to the amenities of the cottage. The garden was lovely to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The path to town expertly described by the host directed me on a lovely walk and to a charming town. There were a few road issues and the neighbors were happy to help me navigate them. I was able to get to and from the destinations that I had on my agenda. And I was so happy to...

"Lovely views the hosts were very welcoming. The wild life was great its not everyday that you can be sitting outside, with deer wondering through your back garden . The local pubs were good value and staff very accommodating lThe cottage itself was very clean and had all you would require for a short stay."
